Memrbl Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 16, 2026
Memrbl ("we", "us") is made by Untitld Labs Inc., 5473 Blair Road, Dallas, Texas, United States. This policy says what we collect when you use the Memrbl app for iPhone and memrbl.com, why, who helps us, and what you can do about it. Questions: dagmawinadew@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your account. You sign in with Apple. Apple gives us an identifier for you, and the name and email address you choose to share (which may be an Apple relay address). We give your account its own user ID.
What you do in Memrbl. The books you open, search for and start; your answers in a book's setup (such as your goal and where you will use the book); your knowledge check and lesson answers, how long they took, and your progress; and when you open the app. We use your setup answers to choose which version of each lesson you see.
Brain Power and Screen Time. If you connect Screen Time, you pick apps in Apple's own picker. Apple never tells us which apps you picked; that stays on your phone. We receive how many minutes you spent in them, counted by iOS in steps, and the points your lessons earn, so your phone can lock and unlock them and show your Brain Power. The lock itself runs on your phone.
Purchases. When you subscribe, Apple (in the app) or Stripe (on the website) takes the payment; we never see your card. Our subscription partner, RevenueCat, tells us what you bought, when it renews and whether it is active. When you subscribe on our website, we also record that checkout's IP address and browser details and keep them with your subscription, at RevenueCat and in our own records, so we can tell Meta about the purchase and its renewals.
Your device. The app's version, your iPhone's model, iOS version and language, and an approximate location (city and country) that our analytics partner works out from your IP address.
How you found us. Which ad, creator link or website brought you to Memrbl. In the app, our attribution partner, AppStack, works it out. On our website, we record it on your first visit (the link's campaign tags, the page you landed on, the site you came from and the ad's click IDs) and keep it with your account and with your subscription at RevenueCat. When you go from our website to the App Store, the link tells Apple which campaign sent you.
We don't collect your contacts, photos, precise location or health data, and we don't read what you do in other apps.
How we use it
- To run Memrbl: your account, your books and lessons, your progress, Brain Power and the lock, and your subscription.
- To make lessons fit you, from your setup answers. Lessons are written once for each book and shared by every reader; nothing is written from your personal information.
- To understand how Memrbl is used and make it better (analytics).
- To learn which of our ads and links bring people who stay, so we spend on what works (attribution).
- To answer you when you write to us, and to keep Memrbl secure.
Who helps us
We share information only with the companies that run parts of Memrbl for us, and only for that:
- Supabase (sign-in and our database, in the EU) and Railway (our servers, in the EU).
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, the App Store, Screen Time) and Stripe (payments on our website).
- RevenueCat (subscriptions). For a subscription bought on our website, it also keeps that checkout's IP address and browser details.
- Mixpanel (analytics): what you do in Memrbl, tied to your user ID. Neither the app nor our website gives it your name or email.
- AppStack (attribution): your user ID, that you signed up or signed in, and when you finished your first lesson, so it can tell which ad or link brought you. To do that it compares the link you tapped with details your iPhone shares when the app first opens, such as its IP address and model. We never give it your name or email. When you buy, RevenueCat tells AppStack too.
- Meta, through AppStack and on our website, so we can measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. When you sign in on our website, Meta's pixel there gets a scrambled (hashed) copy of the email address Apple shares with us and of your user ID. When you subscribe on our website, and each time that subscription renews, our servers tell Meta too, with the same scrambled copies, Meta's own cookies from your visit, and that checkout's IP address and browser details, so Meta can tell which of our ads brought you. Earlier versions of the app also carried Meta's own software kit, which sent Meta app events; the current version doesn't.
- Shorebird, which delivers updates to the app.
- OpenRouter, which runs the AI models that write each book's lessons. We send it the book, never anything about you.
We don't sell your personal information. What we give AppStack and Meta is for measuring and improving our own ads.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and what you do in Memrbl until you delete your account. We keep analytics and attribution records only as long as they help us understand and improve Memrbl and our advertising: deleting your account asks AppStack to delete what it holds about this install, and we have your Mixpanel history deleted when you ask us. We keep purchase records as long as the law requires.
Your choices
- Delete your account in Memrbl: Settings, Delete account. It erases your account, books, lessons and Brain Power, and asks AppStack to delete what it holds about this install. To have your analytics history deleted too, write to us.
- Screen Time: you can remove apps or turn off Memrbl's access in iOS Settings at any time; the lock stops.
- Your rights: depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or take a copy of your information, or object to how we use it. Write to dagmawinadew@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days.
Children
Memrbl is for people 16 and older, as its App Store rating says, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Where your information goes
Some of the companies above work outside your country, including in the United States. When your information leaves the EU, they protect it with the safeguards the law requires, such as the EU's standard contractual clauses.
Security
Your information travels encrypted, and only the people who run Memrbl can reach it, for running Memrbl.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell you in the app when the change matters to you.
